In the present era of digital dependence and widespread mobile phone usage, the habit of reading newspapers and books is gradually declining. In this context, a pioneering initiative has been undertaken by the voluntary organization PUNARBASA. The guests appreciated this innovative effort of the organization, which has been working for more than a decade in Kendrapara district in the fields of therapy, treatment, awareness, empowerment, and the rights of persons with disabilities.

On this occasion, a Mini Library at the Paediatrics and Physiotherapy OPD of PUNARBASA, Madhapur, Kendrapara was inaugurated by District Child Protection Officer Shri Bijaya Ketan Sahoo, Sub-Divisional Information and Public Relations Officer Shri Ashok Kumar Dhalasingh, and senior journalist Shri Jagannath Dhal.

Through this initiative, beneficiaries and attendants visiting the therapy centre will be able to make constructive use of their time by accessing newspapers, magazines, and books available in the library.

Chief Advisor Shri Biraja Routray, Assistant Secretary Shri Bansidhar Mohanty, Vice-President Shri Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, along with staff members Shri Sanjiv Kumar Jena, Shri Kedarnath Barik, Ms Gayatri Prasad, and Shri Dharanidhar Sethi were prominent participants in the programme.
